New 2015 gearbox...

Hi all, still running in my LC, but have noticed that the gear changes are a little notchy... Is this normal for a new engine and does it smooth out? Appreciate the views.

The LC gearbox is notchy and that is describing it rather mildly.  It, imho, detracts from an otherwise excellent machine.  They do a software upgrade (if your bike is still running in, it probably already have that) that improves it and it does get better with time, but the LC will never be remembered for its great gearbox.

i have owned both the 2013 and 2014 model 1200 L C.
due to the shitty gearbox both where sold and have taken delivery of a GSA 1200 L C 2015 model  .

I wonder if the GSA's gearbox maybe feels different because of the different oil (ala this thread: http://www.wilddog.za.net/forum/index.php?topic=169233.msg3360290#msg3360290) ? I'm not aware of changes to the gearbox itself.

I've upgraded from a 2014 LC to the 2015 GSA too, but did not notice any significant difference in the gearbox (or the sound it makes).

Picked up last Friday. Alas I was so busy the weekend I did not even put 50km's on! Such a shame.

Nee!  Nou verstaan ek glad nie.  Jy het gesê jy het "upgrade", maar van rooi na groen is mos nie 'n upgrade nie!  Almal weet die rooies is vinniger!
