My feet get damn wet

Why do my feet get wetter on the LC compared to the old air cooled.Especially the right side. Hell man. Is there an aftermarket cover or something that you wise dogs can recommend.

The add on that I usually use is bmw boots    never had wet feet in all 16k km's

Apparently the "Mud Sling" mud guard works better. I also experience wet feet due to the water thrown up by the back wheel. Hits me on the back of my lower leg/ankle. Very annoying.

Yes, the Mudsling works well, especially if you ride a lot in wet weather.  Not sure about SA but in Europe it is sold by Wunderlich.  Denver should be able to comment.  They also market an extender for the front mudguard which helps a lot to keep the splash down.  Both items are very neat and unobtrusive but I don't think they are hardcore gravel/off road items.  The Mudsling may cause problems in mud but for on-road use in wet weather, it is a clear winner.

Buy better boots. I recently imported those new Forma Adventure short or low boots as they call them. Paid about ⅔ of the price in SA, if you can find them.

Yesterday did about 250 km in pouring rain, and I emphasize pouring, and no wet feet.

Also on 1200 GSA LC.
