IDRIVE Selector on LC Models
« on: July 12, 2017, 12:17:47 pm »
Just wondered if any one else on this forum had issues with their I-Drive  wheel ( wheel selector on left Grip on handle bars )

When I turn the wheel it works but when I either thumb or finger select the wheel, nothing happens. Any know issues on this.. maybe a bad connection or a plug  I can check .. services part ?

Thanks guys.

So.... took my bike in for the recall and asked BMW to check out why my I-drive wheel not functioning properly.

a few bucks later and they put my bike on full diagnostic... just  to be told(and showed) nothing wrong with I drive wheel .. its the GPS
WHAT THE HELLL.....
so what now?
Any one got any idea what do I do to have this rectified or just even looked at..
Where can I get a pinout chart of Nav 5 and what do I test for..
Should I negotiate with Garmin?
Any one else had an issue like this ?

Reset Gamin software and upload latest firmware. If she still does not behave return to Garmin and let us know what happens.
I have only had good experiences with garmin in the past.
