Swaziland, or Eswatini as it's ruler recently renamed it, is adventure biking heaven. I've been fortunate to have been on several rides there, but have not been back since a Swazi Hardcore Adv last year.

I jumped at the opportunity to join @Just Blip It! on a day ride in the in the North Western tip of the country, which is basically on our doorstep.

Mark was riding through from White River, and we were meeting at 6:30 at a petrol station not far from where I live.

The 790 waiting in anticipation.......

Mark phoned just as I was about to leave home. He had a petrol leak after filling up and was heading back home to sort it out. I sat down with the family for another cup of coffee and 30 minutes later Mark phoned to let me know he is leaving White River. The tar ride to Josef'sdal Border is a longish one, but the unbelieveable scenery makes up for not being on dirt.

We made up good time and was at the SA side of the border just before 8am. We waited a couple of minutes for the doors to open and probably spent less than 10 minutes going through both sides of the border

The road from there to Piggs Peak around there via the big dam to Hawane, and then down to Mlilwane

We rode up to the Bulembu Country Lodge for breakfast. The place is in need of some paint an repairs, but we were greeted by a very friendly waiter and had a decent breakfast.
