Hello from Scotland!
« on: November 29, 2006, 09:14:24 pm »
Hello all, just found this site! I'm a 1150GSA riding farmer from Scotland who when not using the GSA or old KLR on the farm sometimes tours up in the Arctic regions of Norway(Nordkapp) or more often in Iceland(three days by ferry away) I've always been interested in South Africa though and I must admit the thought of fantastic scenery, people and a warmer climate is very tempting when starting through a Scottish winter when planning future trips is often on the mind!! :D

From what I've seen on this site so far I'm looking forward to reading about all your adventures and bikes etc at the southern end of Africa!! 8)

Welcome and enjoy! Would love to see some ride pics of trips you have done up there.

Our "local" foreign members in the UK has a huge problem when it comes to dirt riding opportunities.

Elephant eggs!  :D

Hi Farmer,

Welcome.  These guys are quite nice in general.  They tend to wander off a bit, but in general, they're nice.

Sorry, I must go now.  I need to find another girl that must help me out.  But she disappeared.
