Wilddog down on Sunday - Stephan
« on: October 27, 2009, 07:59:03 am »
A workmate took a tumble on Sunday and I hear it was with a few 'dawgs.
Can anyone provide further info and contact details of the fellow riders?
Would like to visit him but have zippo info.
Please mail me if you can.

He is in Unitas as I understand, check first if you can visit he was in ICU, ribs, collar bone skapula, but his lung collapsed due to the ribs hence ICU. Let us know how he is if you manage to see him?

Word gou gesond Stephan!!!
Soos ek vir Miena gese het om vir jou te se, was nou nie nodig om sulke drastiese stappe te neem om uit die Vaal naweek te kom nie hoor ;) ;)

Stephan is still in ICU, so no visitors allowed yet. Just got an update from Miena Moo - He's doing much better, still on oxygen coz his lungs took quite a beating. She will only see him at 11 this morning and will update a bit later.
Don't look back, that's not where you're going.

Stephan is improving. He's still in ICU, so only family members allowed at the moment. Doc said he doesn't have to operate on the broken bones as the breaks are "clean" and he will be OK with a sling for the next month or so. He will be moved to a normal ward in the next day or 2 and then we can go visit.

<EDIT>
Nothing is ever simple, Stephan's son, Kobie, is also in Unitas, having undergone an operation on his knee this morning. I think the family is falling apart.......

I listened like my arse when MM was talking. Not TD.

To all the dogs who came off - Stephan, Duncan - get well soon.
To all the dogs who got shot at - glad you're okay!
To all the dogs who got klapped - glad you're okay!
