Middle ground Ride ---- Harrismith-----
« on: September 27, 2010, 09:06:06 pm »
A couple of Old friends and some new ones got together from Natal and Guateng for a Middleground ride to Harrismith--

Met some great new people this week-end and as usual a great time was held.

Thank's to Dakota for all the planning as well as Malibu -Mark-Beemer Man-Jules -
Li--Who now has her own series on -How to do the -Long Way Round and Down in a 4x2 Kia--with a 640ktm on a trailer as a backup.
Winston -Wendy-Firecracker-Would I-Torrin -Stuart-Ross and the rest -- i am not that great with names---

Starting the post and the rest of the gang can add --------------------------------

The Ride Down.

Sunrise on my way to the meeting spot at Delmas-

On Route.

Great clear cool day for riding--

Beemer Man telling Mark Hardy --How to Polish header pipes
Jules looking at the time and saying comon guy's --Die Bier word Sier--en die son trek water--
Dakota saying --comon all i need saddle time --

Another angle
Drawing straws to see who gets to ride sweeper--

Vrede --Lunch--- great food and a well kept secret with the dog's

They even have a --KTM --Lounge and it was reserved for Travel Gravel and Hubby Just Biking who also happened to arrive there as we had a few seconds later

On Route again --rest break for Beemer Man to drool over The Bling Machine--

Oh -Goodness--He forgot to do the headers--What a disgrace --Wonder How he missed that one :o
Must be his mind on those G-Strings he took with for --------------- That's another story and stays in Harrismith ::)

Jules and my two Hussies-- ::)

Saturday's outride with me--The Scenic one--Jules did the bullit run

Li and her Chick Bike-- :mwink:

Stuart--running in his new DR

Ross --well done bud --great riding for one year in the saddle only--

Wendy--

Some clapped out Huskie --off the road again--can't take them anywhere-- ???

Some of the group at a Old Sandstone Building

Firecracker and Would I-- Riding well Carla-great to see how far you have come in such a short time

Beemer Man --Nearly at the end of his thread- :peepwall:

 Some scenery

On Route to --The Lost Tunnel -Built in 1925-

Winston -- what a pleasure it was to meet you --when we going to Reccie the Lebombo Mountains--

How many people does it take to fix a puncture ????

One to sit on the bike and keep --her end up--

And you can work out the rest

Thank's all and those awesome people that made the Trip possible--hope our tracks cross again in future--

Add your pics and comments the rest who were with and took some pics--

Howsit Blazes & the rest....
Saw you guys in Vrede on Sunday... Roger Doger and I were in the old Willy's Jeeps as you left town. I think Malibu saw us wave. How was the wing affecting the ride?,,,,, we got blown around a bit on the section between vrede and villiers!
Lekka ride. Must do Normandien & Mullers passes. :thumleft:
