RAD or Clearwater for Technical service?
« on: June 09, 2012, 08:26:33 am »
My bike is still under warranty and needs a service as well as a couple of warranty issues sorted. So far I have very little experience with Clearwater although they are about 10min closer to home. RAD has given me good service once before. Where would you recommend I take the bike. only comment based on prior experience please.

If you can keep your head in the midst of all this confusion, you don't understand the situation!

Got my bike back from Clearwater on Saturday, gotta say, I was pretty impressed.

Between them though, it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other... they are both working bloody hard to impress!  :)

If you are having a 640 serviced, then  Frank is your man, he used to be at RAD but has moved to Clearwater, will give them a try next service.

Took my 2012 690 to Clearwater for a warranty issue - they worked overtime and 2 days later the snag was sorted - the other shops could not faultfind the issue. i did not pay a cent, just spend some money in that orange candy store, i felt like a kid again!

currently I am not to happy with Clearwater. My son's little 50 has been there for almost 6 weeks. All started well with regular feedback and then all I got every time I enquired was we are working on it. according to the last feedback the parts arrived more than 3 weeks ago. fark at this rate the kid will outgrow the bike by the time it is fixed.
