Songea to Liwale Tanzania
« on: June 13, 2012, 03:58:59 pm »
Has anyone travelled this road on a bike. It goes through the southern part of Selous game reserve and is much shorter than going around the bottom and outside of Selous. Dont want to ride all the way to the gate to be told I must go back.

Can't ride through the Selous, it's a National Park. Like trying to ride through Kruger. A no-no.

Many roads in Tanzania go through national parks. The main road from Morongoroto Iringa goes right through Mikumi game reserve and Mikumi is just an extention of Selous. So why would there be any difference further south?
