:D

Bromvoël se gat...

Alhoewel ek dink hulle kon bietjie meer gedink het oor daardie snawel se ontwerp.
Die 1150 se voorkant lyk baie beter. Skeel oë en al...

See Guys here is the problem with the unofficial ones (and BTW Mike it does look good):

Firtsly we're trying to build the brand - so stuff like colour and fonts must be exactly right - thats a different font you used.  Secondly its Adventure Riding not Riders (the mods decided to stay away from the riders aka club name and stick to riding)

Plse help us get this right

Note to self:  Include a round and rectangular shape with transparent and white backgrounds as well as a transparent one for the screens (i'll rather go for 5 designs to plse more people than people making their own (with good intentions) but screwing around with fonts and wording.

Hope this makes sense

Kilroy - what you say makes sense.

It does make sense to have a couple of designs (and an official 'light' version as well) to have more application options.

I hear your comment re the 'rogue' designs as well.
Absolutely fine by me.
 Your logo, your brand.
I will replace mine with the official ones when they come out.

Just to be fair I think you should try and find the name of the official font and post it.
You can't expect designers to conform to the official font specs and have them not know what the font is ...

Earthey colours is great, size too big, and PLEASE not round...pretty please!

IT WAS ME!!!  ;D  ;D
Uil, was bloody hard work. each peace was cut out by hand and stuck on the tank. Was cut from normal Reflective tape that is used on trucks. " lyk mooi van ver af, maar ver van mooi af"  :-[

And yes it is a bit much. I'm gona remove the 4 paws on the top of the tank. Just keep the sides.
Be careful of the words you say.
And keep them soft and sweet.
For you never know from day to day.
Which ones you'll have to eat.

OK LGF - lets try to narrow it down?

1. Round one - disk size - official paw - Wild Dog Adventure Riding just as on the top logo - same place same font same colours.  web address underneath - again same font and paw colour - transparent background
2. Same as the above with white backing
3. Your Rectangular design with Wild Dog Adventure written on top (same font and colour) with the stretched Riding underneath (same font and white colour) - thin line underneath with the web address underneath - as big as the length of the above will allow - again in transparent (i know the size of WD Adv will be smaller to allow for the longer line)
4. Screen model - Paw on top, with WD Adv again written underneath with the stretched Riding under that (font and colours the same) - web address under that - again transparent

Shit I know I'm a kak spec writer, but hope you understand

LGF - can you organise for design and printing? we'll pay off course  ;D

can we do it with the overlay of the transparent even on the white - as showed previously?

can i suggest that if we do option 1, and there's no dog on it, the the text is reworked on the paw to fill the space better and therefore be bigger?

Not options - we do all 4

No dog either - therefore the same as the logo above without the dog?

i do think though if you drop the dog, move the text up - it'll look funny without the dog, plus then you can make the text bigger...

Ama - if I search "wild dog rider" I still don't have a link to this forum on page 3 of Google's results.

If I search "wilddog rider" I get a link on Wikipedia (but that points to the old forum address):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kawasaki_KLR650
Apart from that I also have nothing for the 1st 3 pages.

When I type in "wilddog adventure rider" as the search I get hits on page one...

I think it is necessary to have the url in.

Btw. the URL to "Wild Dog Adventure Riders forum" on wikidepia still pointed to the old site, but I fixed it.
Don't look back, that's not where you're going.

GP, I think everyone is really grateful for the infrastructure that these okes have put together for free and that we can be part of.

If there is a hint of a possibility to help with something I think lots of people will jump at the opportunity...

Yep I fully agree..... just pulling the legs there (or tails) - I met Jaques (Aerotrim) yesterday and one of the things we both agree on is the fantastic cameraderie on this site - especially in this day & age when most people are only your "friend" if they can get something out of it.......

I think the old saying of "what comes around - goes around" is so true.... that's what makes this such a success  ;D
