Something to consider, but quite expensive... Hmmm  :patch:

Doesn't sending the ECU alone to the UK make the remap not quite custom to your bike and environment?

Nope.... to give brief explanation.....  Geoff needs the following from you:

1. Octane ratings of the fuel used in SA
2. Make & Type of your Lamda sensors ith pics of the units
3. Ambient Temperatures .... so he'll need the range for Winter & Summer - minimum, maximum, average
4. Where you live - i.e height above sea-level
5. Details of your bike - obviously model, year
6. List of Mods made to the bike............ he can set the Basemap (i.e Factory supplied bike) to the normal or with add-ons.
7. Normal cruise speed...... etc. etc...... but he'll send a list of what's needed.

Most of the chaps have selected the standard settings and see a vast improvement with their Acro etc.

short story... your bike will be set to your conditions....

Geoff can program the mapping to anything and any mod..............

............ oh and you mention expensive..........?  :eek7:  with the conversion rate about R4k ............... and I can tell you that a standard bike with the ECU remapped will give a performance that would probably beat a heavily modded bike hands down.
How much do some okes lay out to De-Cat the bike, Performance cans...etc?

This remap allows your bike to perform as it was intended! SIMPLES~!!  :thumleft:

isn't it only bantering if it causes others to banter along?

Are there any of of you who are still interested in having your 1200 remapped?

I know a guy in CT who can help. He just developed software flash for the BMW S1000RR, and he says he can do the 1200.
