Why ? Would of thought that the standard shock on the bike is one of the best shocks around.

I bought a 690 and paid dearly for it because in my opinion it has the best spec's for a standard bike in the market.

Just curious.

We have a month-long trip coming up in September, and will probably be a bit heavily laden. Only reason  :thumleft:

I imported a Superplush spring from KTMTwins.  Took about 2 weeks to arrive.

He did not have a 90NM spring when I ordered mine.  Might have now.  It will definitely be quicker.  You can also PM Superfoxi on this forum.

If you are going to be "heavy" make sure you have upgraded your sub frame bolts as well.

Let us know what you do , it sounds interesting.

I have done quite a few thousand k's on the 690 with full camping kit. So far so excellent. I replaced the bolts right at the start already.
