I am need of some pertinent advice as to what to look out for on a 1150gs with 50 000km's on before purchasing and also what to have replaced or done on it on a
50 000 km service?
I am interested in a gs1150 with 50 000km's on the clock and yes the kilos are low although I need to establish what to look out for and what to have tested if tested by a BMW agent,at the same time what should be replaced at such mileage,IE belts,shaft seals,universal joint,bearings,wheel bearings,sensors etc?
What is critical not to miss out on initial inspection,IE compression test and what else can be tested to avoid getting any nasty surprises later on?
Are the BMW agents actually the right people to do all these checks and assessments.?
