Why no news of the KTM/Sierra Ranch event???

I see one small ride report regarding the KTM/Sierra Ranch event that took place last weekend, all I've seen so far is a train and some oke who got moered good (still hose myself when I picture it... ) by a bag of oranges.
All this hype over the GSC, NADA on the KTM/Sierra Ranch event..........Woswrong?

 Awesome event, pity about the rain on Friday.  Gravel roads became quite a challenge.  The chillie routes were well thought out.  Saturday dawned a beautiful day and the ride through Imbabala was awesome down through to "Darkest Africa" Fuel stop at Weenen.  Curtis, Cox, van Niekerk & Bontekoning battled to keep it on two wheels, everytime i saw them their front wheels were facing the sun!
At about 14h30 arrived back at Sierra Ranch to the smell of good wors rolls and then down for the line up for the Time Trial.  Gary Nilson on the 950 Super Enduro won just ahead of Roger Kane Berman on the HP2 and third Paul Wagenaar on the Cagiva.  Bontekoning bought some land in the time trial and hopefully the camera crew caught the action - got to see that!
Those of you who wussed out missed a good time!

Maybe because the "KTM event" starts on the 11th of October!
Alfie Cox's event at the Sierra Ranch was open to ALL DS bikes.

This Monday nights 2 Wheels has got coverage of Alfies DS weekend

Saw the report on 2 wheels last night. Really awesome, despite the rain (or maybe because of the rain?). You had to see the irony in the KTM rider coming down, being passed by a BM - actually quite scary, just shows the importance of proper following distances depending on the road surface, whether etc.
