So I am looking for a TW, have been for a while and either the right one at right price comes along and no funds, or have funds but can't find right one.
I want one almost purely on sentimental value, love those little bikes.
Saw one 2001 1991 model, very good condition, runs well, cosmetics looks good etc, for R 8000.00. Only bummer, no papers.
Two others as well, but they are out of town, a 1997 registered with topbox for R 10000.00 negotiable and a 2000 for R 9000.00 also topbox and handguards and registered and on the road.
So make the guy an offer on 91 model, between R 5-R6k as it has no papers, he comes back and goes on about how low it is and he spent R 10000.00 on it and R 8000.00 is a very good price for a TW, as this were the bike to go all the way to the North Pole, when it came out!
Now how the hell does going to the North Pole increase the value of a bike with no papers !
Actually it is worth just about the same as bloody rock!

So seems will have to keep looking or organize some travelling for that TW
