Just saying hi,
I've been looking for months at the classifieds mostly at GS'e, TA and AT's and ended up buying a black XT! Not sure how it happened ???
Its a black 2001 with just over 14k on the clock, few bumps and bruises. Mainly to commute to the Centurion Gautrain Station.
Started off by changing the brake pads, air filter, oil, oil filter,spark plug, refreshed steering oil, replaced the 10 year old front knobly with a anakee to match the newish rear tyre.
Currently waiting for new dual sport led indicators (its got some midas blinkers screwed to the plastics) and fitted an oil temp guage.
Next up probably a rack or something as all my GS mates are nagging for a Lesotho trip.
Oh, snapped the speedo cable by misusing a cable tie!
