What a weekend for the "Da Good Da Bad and Da Ugly"

We left Pmb on Thursday Morning and Travelled via the following areas:
Cramond, through the Snow to the Gilboa forests, Craigie Burn Dam, onto Middelrus, Muden valley, Tugela Valley and had lunch at St Cathrines Golf course.
After an Awesome Lunch it was time to head off to Nkandla to overnight at Mtonjaneni Lodge, very comfortable accommodation.

Friday.
After a good breakfast we headed for Ulundi and onto Mkuzi.
What a great trip over the Ubombo Mountains past Josini Dam to the Mozambique border heading for Ponto.
New found respect for Sand was discovered as the race to Fernando's was well and truly won by Laurence and Andre.

What an experience the afternoon was, and we realised that one night was going to be too short, but luckily our livers agreed with the one night "planned" stay over, as two nights would have meant at least a week stay to recover............... :laughing4:

Saturday
Lots of very sore heads and our new found talent we were ready to take on the Dakar the border arrived so much quicker on the way out.
After our experience of sand from the day before we opted for the more Direct route as the 450 km more scenic route as not in our vocabulary.
After arriving at Tugela river mouth a welcomed rest and Braai was the order of the day.

Sunday
A early thunderstorm reminded us that bikers are special people and we set off for Pietermaritzburg via a scenic trip up the Tugela river valley to Kranskop, Mispah Seven Oaks , New Hanover for a welcomed beer at the Keg .

Thanks so much to Mark for organsing the trip and everyone that came along as always
