I think I pay around 700 smacks PM through Outsurance, but i am not complaining! She is worth every cent!

But right now I am delirious with malaria and it may be less

My bike still at Mike Hopkins in Cape Town to sort out the idling problem

. They do not know how to fix it, it has been three days now. They tell me that they have had a few in for the same problem...

Divot, there is a recall for the 2011 models, one recall for a idle problem, apparently the dealer remaps, the second recall was for the centrestand. The dealer should be able to check your VIN number with Triumph and they will advise.

The spring was to soft.

Absolutely!

Coming from a superbike I thought it was gonna take me ages to get used to this big lump of machinery. But man, am I surprised. Flicking it through some real fast corners over the weekend just made me realize what an awesome machine this is. Can't say the same for the dirt roads though. On more than one occasion I almost came off. Definitely need some training and a lot of practice on the dirty stuff.

All of the above, plus I have no riding experience on any surface other than tar. I still need to go for some adventure bike training.
