Julle gaan lucky wees om voor donker op george te kom.

En onthou wanneer julle Sondag se ry beplan, die bekkie op Knysna by die Wimpy, na ons mekaar gekry het. Ek het reeds die hele Suidkaap genooi om te kom kuier en hello sê.

Thanks all.

Spent today with a bright young 21 year old trying to find out why bike was idling at 3500rpm when warmed up.

Some of the findings includes gunk in both carbs
Half the Namib desert under the tank, in every hole.
Bike has Fiat Uno distributor. VW CDI units and one coil was dead. Now has Suzuki coil........
Every electrical contact opened, cleaned and then WD40'd
Also made up a frame to keep the soft pannier bags out the spokes and off the Zorst

Well, thanks to Goise for posting up these pics.
I am only on my phone so posting pics turns into a pain.

Simply put, Stefan who is a 21 year old local guy pretty much stripped both carbs, pulled the plugs, checked various bits etc to find why the running was so bad.
He manually ballanced the carburetors.
Then found a Fiat Uno distributir, some VW parts and ultimately fitted a Suzuki coil to teplace the knackered one of the two fitted.
