I posted this in Xt660 section, but I guess it belong here:
Here are few pictures from today's first bonding ride. It will definitely need a bit of work to get it where Dwerg's is. The suspension is nothing to brag about - harsh, deflecting and not confidence inspiring at all. I believe the springs are just too weak - don't get why they target standard for riders of 75-80kg. Well Hilton Hayward will hear from me shortly. There is also quite a bit instability upwards of 130 kmh. I have lowered yesterday the triple clamps by about 0,5 cm as the bike was handling like a chopper, so it may have contributed. Anyway, I will wait for suspension set-up and then see what else I may need to imitate from Dwerg's. bike. And that seat - ouchie. I may have patronised in the past some people complaining about the seat and tell them to toughen the fuck up. I guess I may eat my words on this one.
Oh yeah - those tyres are real practical joke. Why do they even sell it with these 50/50 abominations?
Well at least the sticker kit is starting to grow on me and the bike pulls like a turbine from 5000 rpm up. The pipe should though make it feel a bit less restrained.
