Beta have just launched their new 2 stroke enduro range with a 250 and 300 , both with electric start and they certainly look good .

But of course it raises the question of why the Japs don't have anything , just think of it , in Europe we have Beta , GasGas , Husaberg , Husqvarna , KTM ,Ossa and TM with their range of 2 strokes , even Bimota are busy developing their own 2 stroke in 250 and 300 .
So why are the Japanese sitting back with nothing currently and nothing much in the pipeline , where are the days when KDX200/250's , RMX250's and WR200/250 and 500 were popular bikes , surely this is a large worldwide market sector that they can enter with something a bit more cost effective than the Euro brands . And it is not that I have anything against the Euro brands but there are a lot of potential people out there who could afford a modern day KDXRMXWR but not a Euro bike .
