Mount Fletcher - Rhodes
« on: September 21, 2012, 05:14:39 pm »
Has anyone been on the Mount Fletcher - Rhodes dirt road recently?
I haven't been on it in four years and heard reports it is not so good.
I would like to travel it tomorrow, saves a few k's if you are coming from Kokstad side.

Is this the road going over Naude's Nek Pass? If the condition is "bad", all the more reason to enjoy the ride and sharpen your skills. You'll be surprised at what your bike can absorb.

was on that road today. With bakkie.

Saving time? No. Would cost you time.

Enjoyment factor on bike? Hell yeah!

Seriously. The first 20odd km approaching from Mount Fletcher side, is not in good condition.
