Calitzdorp. I used to visit him but after reading his Posts here I give him a wide berth. Used to be a quick trip from Oudtshoorn.but these Days if I want to travel to Ladismith I go via Mosselbay to avoid those goddamn Critters. :deal:

Another one today. Juvenile this time in our garden.

Can I come visit? Would love to see in real life. Beautiful! My sister finds puffies within metres of their home - until I come to visit, then they are all gone.

Snakes can sense evil.
And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, "O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy."

Then why aren't they welcoming me with open fangs? ::)

Another juvenile Cape Cobra in our garden today. Probably family of the one we caught last week. this one did look slightly smaller though and not as aggressive.

Yes caught - people call me to come and catch them and remove from their premises. I then release in the veld far away from people. Before we started catching them people would just kill them which is a terrible thing to do. they have a place in the natural system. Not once have anyone been bitten by a snake since I have lived here.

I just don't get some people. The other day in the local we were talking about snakes as the mole snakes are quite common in the area. Out of six of us there, three of them kill these and other snakes.  :xxbah:
