They love geckos and tree frogs. Only snake I know which can climb walls.

This one eventually had to concede the gecko wasn't going to fit in his mouth and let it go

Shot this with my phone the other day. I was afraid to draw her attention away from the snake, so I filmed instead. By the time I saw them, she had already broken it's back. I saw the chameleon earlier on the same morning when passing by near the scene of the battle. Boomslang.

Mole
This is not a mole snake...looks to be possibly a brown water snake. Very docile and easy to hand rear.

:sip: I fully agree with you Rufus this snake has a long head more prominent neck and the eyes are more towards the top of the head and much bigger than that of a mole snake.

Saw this guy at the top of Dasklip pas, close to Porterville.

At first I thought is was a piece of rubber lying in the road but maybe its a snake so I drove slower. The moment I got close it reared its head. Not backing down an inch!

Quick moving, agitated & angry at life type of snake  :o  :imaposer:

Black spitting cobra perhaps?
