You know, some mornings....
« on: October 02, 2012, 07:53:38 am »
...you get to work. Climb off the bike and think F@ck yeah, that was FUN!

Some mornings Groenie just sounds different. Every thump is crisp and a joy to the ear. Nothing really exiting happened on the way, a wave from a friendly Dog, some cagers doing what they do best, lots of traffic, but I still enjoyed the ride. The last little speed bump before the office, I take in third gear, full taps. The little wheelie it causes is the last fun to be had before the drag starts.

The feeling lasts till after the first coffee.... I feel sorry for the guys in cars.
Don't look back, that's not where you're going.

Aint that a fact ... amen!
Everyone I come across in cages they bought
they think of me and my wandering
but I'm never what they thought
got my indignation but I'm pure in all my thoughts
I'm alive...

Well said, lately i feel like this on the little Baja taking all the gravel trails to work. BM got me missing out on the small, or should i say slow things.

Watch this space, going through a re-invention phase.

The ride to work this morning was so good it had me seriously thinking about skipping work and taking the first dirt road I could find. Damn, I wish I could be more irresponsible :ricky:

Ek weet presies waarvan jy praat Groenie, party dae is alles net reg, en inpv om regs in Kaapweg te draai kantoor toe, draai ek links en ry Jefreysbaai om en terug deur die van Stadens pas werk toe (so 'n lekker 160km draai) en dan is die res van my dag pure magic en niks pis my af nie.  :thumleft:

Strange how Jemima also has mornings where she just feels perfect. Smooth and just happy to run. On those days I wish that I could just continue riding and not stop at work.

Love those mornings. You can't force them either; they just kinda happen on their own.  :ricky:
...and they never happen in a cage...
