Wilddog Shop
« on: October 19, 2012, 12:44:35 pm »
Planning to re-introduce a better functioning WD shop and sourcing better and cheaper products

planning to run a fully fledged online shop with capable distribution capabilities centrally. Will still cater for wholesale stock to be carried by some of our vendors. Got a dedicated person to look after this now.  She is real close to where I stay in centurion.

need advice from you okes ito:

1. Best online ordering and payment system - willing to buy.  May need someone to set it up or outsource it completely. Need to cater for different types of payment methods
2. Need a signage coy to do all our stickers - old designs and new ones - incl our reflective paws
3. Need vendors to supply MX style branded riding shirts
4. We are ok with t-shirts, caps, beanies and buffs - vendor is good.  Will bring out a different WD t-shirt each year. will work on a model to include our vendors logos ito sponsorship on the shirts
5. Need your advice on what you would like to get branded from the shop.  What WD items would you want us to carry

Preferable if the suppliers are in the Centurion area, or bigger J0-burg area its easier to co-ordinate

What do you think?

:3some:  :thumleft: clothing, stickers and how about the possibility of a central point for WD's second hand goods with the shop taking a commission and doing the shipping?  :peepwall:

I want to see this happen. Taalk is cheap.  Also pricing is very important. NO Rip off prices like R 30.00 or R 40.00 for a paw sticker when it costs R 5.60 to make a whole string of 5, eventually costing R 1.00 something each.  Its issues like these that make us go do our own thing for a fraction of the price.

@tweets:
+1 on the ripoff prices, a place I worked at (long time ago) had a sliding scale price structure; items of little value eg the stickers had a bigger markup than more expensive stuff. Lets say a single sticker costs R2.50, you can put a 300% markup giving R10. On a shirt costing R90, it would be stupid to try that (R360 for a t-shirt is too much, even if it's signed personally by Alfie Cox ;) ) so a 50% markup is about the maximum reasonable rate (R135)

Then we might also be interested in drimac-type jackets for the evenings around the fire, caps, beanies, the usual stuff. How about a wild dog / wild bitch g-string? :imaposer:
