It seems that there is interest in a ride on Saturday morning and/or Sunday afternoon. Perhaps it might be helpful to give an indication, along the following lines?

Saturday 20 October (meet at Zone 7 at 09h30)
1. Doug C
2. Garfield

Sunday 21 October (meet at Zone 7 at 13h30) - ride and, for those able and willing to help, track building
1. Doug C (ride and track building)
2. Garfield

I'm editing this today (25/7/13) so that people reading this thread can find the incident that Garfield and daughter reported.  Page 33 Reply 659 (last post on page)

Since this time we have ridden there many times.  There have been no further incidents, but we all must remain vigilant.

Buff, I think those who trailer their bikes can leave their vehicle and trailer inside Zone 7. I'm not sure if there is a charge. Garfield, if you see this before the ride, please could you advise.

Jy kan in die quarry ook kots, niemand sal kla daaroor nie.

If you do come through and park at Z7, not sure what they will charge, the times I have parked there I paid the normal entrance for a day rider (R100.00) or event spectator (R30.00) on events days - paid this by choice as I use their facilities and I usually go ride the enduro loop after the quarry ride anyway.

AgentO, nice meeting, that bike of yours   :drif:  :drif:  :drif:

Thanks for the offer of a ride, if you saw me fall earlier you would never have done that.

We only did 10km in the quarry today, I am sure no one who was there will ever ask me to lead a ride again  :imaposer:

Troy is a daemon in the sand, just his chain which hampered him today, will ride with you anytime  :thumleft:
