Agreed, but should we be reading reports like this whilst already depressed that we are working and everybody else is out riding, especially when I look out of the office window and see a cloudless blue sky!

The pictures lures you to climb on your bike and to hell with work, leave immediately and ride that area flat.

I would serously like to get in contact with your bro as we have a similar trip coming up this year and would like to ask more questions, regarding fuel, water, route and stuff like that.  Zonklenut and myself would be keep to find out more.

Congrats again, get him to scribe on this forum as well.  He cpould join the likes of Loe, Shark, Lito and ...........  :twisted:

Great story and awesome pics.  Kunene is on my places-to-go list now, it is the only part of Namibia I have not seen.  

Well done to the riders - shows that good preparation can counteract most unplanned "mishaps".
