Hi there, Wilddogs.

I swopped my new Honda nostalgia thumper for a SuperTenere.
Not built for the sparseness of the 650 thumper. ;)

So here is a link to the post on ThinkBike since July this year, but the problem was apparent from the word go in January!

https://forum.thinkbike.co.za/showthread.php?60311-XT1200Z-Super-Tenere-2012.

It seems to be a real struggle to get someone knowlegable to diagnose the problem.
The bike has been "adjusted" but nothing has changed.

To find the right person in Yamaha is very hard.

Each conversation goes paired with the proverbial glazing of the eyes, and platitudes of : the problem is not as bad as I'm imagining, when dealing with the dealer, if you can get hold of someone there.

I have spoken to a lot of people. Some who have nothing to do with Yamaha. Everyone is keen to help.
Even have had Suzuki workshop, Kawasaki dealers and such test ride it, to confirm that it is not imagined!

I have now even asked advice of the National Director of AMiD, who has had a look at the thread and admires my patience.

Tomorrow I wil await a satisfactory response.

If not, any new names at yo'mama's place for me to chat to?
