So on a glorious Saturday Morning started of for another EPIC Breakfast run.
First picture is just outside Brits. It’s about 60km from home.
A Church in a Town Jerico
Ok so the MAP was Old, had to turn back and make a nice round trip.
To get on my original road.
And then it started getting seriously beautiful, the dirt was asking for more focus but the surrounding areas were lovely.
And saw about 3 or 4 of these along the way some hanging in trees and other fixed to fences. Someone is lonely.
Breakfast 4 Pannekoeke at Rooiberg.
From here it was seriously bumpy and then the wake up thick sand to get to the start of my goal. To go around the Marakele Nature Reserve.
The road around was well… not for the faint hearted. There was water, and thick really riverbed thick sand, wild animals, rocks, mud, bridge that was not there anymore. Serious fun…. Looks worse now then it was. Looking around at the lovely surroundings was my worse enemy LOL.
Had a little moment. Well it was just stars everywhere. Sand in the helmet and all over. Bike was A-OK. This machine is awesome.
Then it ended up in TAR. Tried but the biker didn’t want to jump the 6 foot fence. And looking at the trail I was happy deep inside it didn’t lol.
Back on the dirt to get to the start.
Did what I was planning on doing. The bike is awesome. On the way home it was TAR all the way because it started raining A LOT.
For the day did
Total 648.8km
9.29 Hours Riding
5.7 l/100km average.
68.3km/h average.
