Ek soek daai IMS tank, maar sal vir n swarte gaan. Die swart rims is elke sent werd, ek sit in die garage en staar vir die bike

Collected mine on the weekend, lovely bike. Just need to get used to how an offroad bike corners, but i'll get there.

Its a 2007 model, here's the extras:

-2011 CRF450X oem plastics and seat
-GPR4 steering damper
-Pro Taper contour bars
-ASV adjustable/unbreakable clutch lever and brake lever
-Works Connection radiator braces
-Works Connection aluminium bash plate
-CV4 hose kit
-Head has titanium exhaust valves replaced with stainless steel
-Hammerhead billet brake and gearshift levers.
-Hammerhead billet case saver and rear axle blocks
-DID Gold chain with TAG Metals rear sprocket
-T.M. Designworks chain slider kit and rear brake caliper protector.
-Twin Air air filter
-Factory Connection rear and front springs

35k. Bike is in great condition, and i would have added a lot of those bits myself in anycase, so i thought it to be a good deal.

Most of those parts you have to import from the states, which is big shipping and taxes, so i wouldn't have been a happy camper.

Rode the bike on Sunday at Chimes on the east rand, did 107km. My gawd the bike farks off, seriously lekker to just roll on the power when you want to. Did a bit of slow tech stuff, and the size and mass of the bike are fine. Only issue is my sand riding skills, but those will come in time.

I dont know why the CRF is not a a bigger contender in SA to the WRF.

The punishment that these bikes can take is astounding!

Yes, well is't good in a way; We can buy a similar year CRFX for 10K less than a KTM450

Kort net nog ALU bash plate en 12L IMS tank

OK en dalk bling foot pegs.. en dalk hammerhead gear shifter en rear brake pedal

Mine has the hammerheads, and they're really good, i dig them. Bash plate is a must.

Ek en Sidetrack beplan 'n moerse ride einde Mei.
Trailer na Colesberg en dan van daar 1500KM se grond paaie: Baviaans, swartberg pas etc.

Voor ons dit aandurf, gaan ons 'n 300km 1 dag ride doen na Rooiberg (Thabazimbi se kant), sover is dit beplan vir Saterdag 11 Mei.
