I like it looks wise. I don't love it but I like it more than the BMW.

But if I owned a 990 I would not sell it for the new bike. Also, if I had the cash I would go out and buy a 990 R right now before the new bike hits.

But I like it.

Sho, if I was in the market for a big bike, I would have been sold already. Very impressive. That Moto3 road bike that is on it's way also sounds like super fun. Thanks for stealing this from the thieves at ADV rider Mark Hardy!

Gives the okes buying the first ones in March 2013 time to make plans to improve the looks with a higher front mudguard, bashplate and less obtrusive after market pipe

Read the bit on Fabrizio Meoni's 950 Dakar winning bike, and how the following 950 customer bikes shared a big percentage of the race bike's design. Racing always improves the breed.

It is damn pretty, but it doesn't look like a KTM anymore...

"inspired by the Dakar winning GS bikes. This new special model comes in Alpine White body with Magma Red frame. The legendary Dakar winning looks are rounded off by the cylinder head covers in Granite Grey metallic and the aluminum die-cast single-sided swing arm in Asphalt Grey metallic. Contrast is provided by the engine finished in black as well as the seat in black/off-white with red inlaid seams. "
