Problem is the gearing, unless the new KTM is totally geared for on-road use, the close ratio box need too many shifts, and thus time lost. It also has to be able to rev as high as the superbikes to make power where it matters on the street.
Beware of starting to sound like GS1200 riders.

Of course, in certain situations of revs and roll-ons, a superbike will be surprised by this 150bhp monster. It still is a lot of power.
