A couple of days ago picked up a problem on the Kawa (2008 model with 11000km’s) whereby when getting to work the water in the bottle is boiling. Water is not disappearing, or also no water in the oil and the fan is coming and off as shouldl. Asked around and checked the Versys forum and all fingers were pointing to the radiator cap or some other leak in the system. Took of the cap last night and just had it it tested at Silverton. Cap is shot !! Got new one (R50) and will replace this weekend. By the way Kawasaki wants R327.00 for the cap ??? ???
