You know a GS 1200 owner as he has a worried expression on his face because the fuel warning light is
flashing at him.

You know you are a R1200GS owner when... the only maintenance the bike need after a week long trip is a wash

Agree - that is why I like a shafty - like a car - just take for its yearly service and wash it to admire it

Everytime you hit dirt you have to stop to switch ofthe abs while the HP2 have to wait for you

Ok, switching the ABS off is a little frustrating.  However I have to point out that we spend FAR more time waiting for HPs and KTMs to refuel than they ever spend waiting for us to manage electronics...

You need two strong guys to help you make a u-turn.

You try your best to make smooth gear changes to impress your pillion, but cannot always remember the exact sequence required by each gear   ???

Would you rather prefer that the 1200 riders should downgrade to a Super Ten before they downgrade again - this time to a 990?  :pot: :lol8:

You stand on tar whenever the speed limit drops to 80km/h or less.  (Maybe not a 1200 specific thing)
