I usually stop to offer help when I see a biker standing next to the road. 99% of the time they are not in trouble or help is already on its way. Could we not perhaps have a universal Wilddog sign to indicate if we need assistance. Something like a helmet on the ground behind the bike (used in a few other countries), or a glove pulled over the mirror as a sign that everything’s fine. Then we’ll know whether to stop or just wave as we pass , or not wave if you’re on a BMW.
