AFTER MONTHS OF TRYING, well not really,we went out to one training camp and were once again hooked.
the two of use had ridden trials back in the 90`s.
i need something for my rehab [after injury heals] and silly b just loves riding trials bikes,so we bought a 270 beta circa 2006 and picked it up on saturday afternoon.
by the by,graham harris has gotten 8 new riders since the weekend trials camp ,so the advertising does work.
there is now also 3 new women riders.
anyone looking for a trials bike should call him,he has about 8 for sale.
best part was sunday morning,i woke up and decided that "i think i can ride this bike"the bike has massive compression and with the kickstart on the left its a while before you get the technique.
anyway,i strapped the arm and made a plan with duct tape and bandage to hold my right wrist solid.
got on engaged first and tore up the paving around the cars,fark!!! it was magic to be on a bike after 7 weeks,thankfully the beta is capable of troling around in first while idling as my right wrist cannot turn the throttle.
after about five minutes i had to stop but hell it was good.,
will post pix once i can jump stumps in a single bound.
