you know what to do with that stuff GMan? take tin empty contents into dog boil tin for half hour fill with the mulled wine and enjoy! otherwise if youre game for it theres always the traditional haggis neeps and tatties (neeps are swede and tatties being mashed or finely chopped popatoes) or the more modern way is battered and deepfried with chips and a bottle of Barrs irnbru! enjoy and once agin thanks. I had to laugh when you said about the back tyre - probably woulda saved my butt a few times in the mud! have alekker trip and looking forward to your return RR see if you can stop in at timbila well worth it!
and also at willems place on the dirt road just as the railway line crosses the Kliplaat/willowmore rd theres a road off to the south his house is just at the end of the rd about 1km

Episode Three

Off at five tomorrow morning, if I can get the four woman in the car on time. 8 hours in a cage... Eish !

Staying with Goose tomorrow evening and then off to Stellenbosch on Sunday for brekkie and ride with 2SD. Heading East mostly and criss-crosiing Southern Mountain Range. Aim to pop around at ChrisL on Monday and then stick as far as I can along the coast. Tuesday head into the mountains again, Prins Alfred's pass, Langkloof, Agter Kouga and home. Something like that.

If I'm somewhere along your way, let me know, and we have a cup of coffee. 084 492 7680.

Otherwise, see you all back here on Tuesday evening again... all being equall

Well - I received a message a short while ago from Jupiter that they were in Montagu........ not far to go!

Off to Houtbay this morning early to get a nice fresh Yellowtail............ what a whopper! After cleaning it the "gevlekte vis" measured in at over 500mm (without a moerse head & tail) and it just fit into the basting dish.

So now I'll work the magic ......

Last night was a blast! Lots of folk to come see Jupiter off. Great company & food and oh boy ..... that Yellowtail was super tasty!

Well - the crowd arrived.......... did not take long before Jup's family were in the pool.... sweltering after their trip down to the Cape... I'm sure the pool was a welcoming refreshment!

Andy660 and his family arrived - and soon the banter began.

Jup's lovely girls (sommer 4 of them....) invaded the pool and soon decided that the pool table was next in line to be utilised.....

Was stunning to have both my boys pay us a visit...........

... oh and that Yellowtail....................... DELICIOUS!!!!! (had to do it on 2 grids and our fish platter was too small for it)

what a fantastic wife you have Jup...... Lynn - huge kudo's to you for putting up with him

Jup fixing the indicator on the bike... nothing beats the gool 'ol Ducktape!

............ and he's off (just as the battery on my camera died)

and while old Jupiter started his long trek in the summer heat......... fully kitted out............ here the Goose had the opportunity to sit around the table outside and enjoy breakfast with 5 of the lovliest ladies in the Cape!!!

So G decides to pick up a snack for tonight since he's stealth camping up the road but as luck would have it Veldblom and myself had gone for a little ride to Uncle Ronnies low down & dirty house of ill repute. We must have missed each other by about an hour on the Montague road.
Luckily he persevered and waited for us to return.
Break a leg brother and remember to give a hug to Chris and Amanda from us please.
