Very cool!
02/02/12 - RIP Glen - the Arrow of Elliot and the little man with the big heart that truly was larger than life.

You have touched us and left us better for having known you - even if it was only briefly.

For grabbing the moment and living the day It's been way too early that you were taken away

Today, Heidelberg, Gysmanshoek, vanwyksdorp, Ladismith Barrydale.
1 - Came across this grader merrily self destructing without a soul in sight.
2 - Used the opportunity to try and get more creative.
3 - On the way to Gysmanshoek
4,5 - Also on the way to Gysmans theres this house right next to the road and I've been wanting to stop there for a while now.

I've almost forgotten about this thread but was reminded to post something. Here we go:
1 - between Riviersonderend and Greyton - yesterday
2 - as above but different route (coming back) - yesterday. I asked a farm worker where the road goes and he confirmed it goes to town but looked uncertain. I asked if I can use it and he said yes. Then he said theres a big ditch in the road. I asked if a bakkie can get through he said no. I asked if a tractor can get through he said yes. I said I'll be OK!
3 - metal bridge near N2 on farm roads outside Riviersonderend - yesterday
4 - Ouberg Pass outside Montagu - today
5 - Ouberg Pass outside Montagu - today

These pics taken today
1 - found this camping site next to a river near Leeuenboschfontein on the Touwsrivier - Montagu highway. Was looking for a shady spot to rest the bike and low and behold
2 - theres braai spots, a "big Brother shower", wood, blits, grids, even a shooting range, running water, toilet! this place is organized I wonder whom it belongs to would like to sleep over there (I have more pics)
3 - and heres another place that always fascinates me. I keep thinking it's a secret nuclear hide or something like that. Check out the pics!
4 - all this in the middle of nowhere
5 - and more
