2006 KTM 640 Input?

I want to go check out a KTM 640 2006 model this week. Its got 18700km on.

This ride report and the good feedback from the driver convinced me that this is a spot on bike.   http://www.wilddog.za.net/forum/index.php?topic=21609.0

Is there anything to look out for? ITs got the LC4 engine in if im correct? Ive read that this is a reliable engine.

I have test ridden the bike a couple of hours ago, and it goes like the clappers.

Just want to run the VIN numbers through KTM and check if they have a service history.

Bike used to belong to a Chris vd Walt, it was bought out of his estate. hasnt been serviced yet by the new owner who's had it for more than a year and a half. he says he has put about 3000km on it.

Haven't bought it yet, riverside ktm just sent me the service history on the bike, and it only has the 1000km service listed, and the current owner said the prev owner had all his services done by roost, I will fwd the service history to roost and ask them if they can check as well....

It's advertised price is 46000

That's not a bad price IMHO. I paid R 58000 2 years ago. Biggest problem I had with mine is chaffed through wires thanks to all the vibrating....I stripped her naked, bought a couple packets of cable ties & strapped all loose wires away. Love her to bits !

Ek praat darem van 'n pad wat so langs die N4 loop. Het nie langs die skouer op die grond gery nie gery nie. Netnou roost ek iemand dan parkeer hy sy landcruizer bo op my
