I know of 3 being brought into the country early next year. Friend of mine is getting one. Although it's a very good looking bike, I don't think it is the one for me. Looks too much like the big GS's and they just don't do it for me. But if the talk of the 850 version is true, I might consider it. At the moment the best buy I think would be the BMW 800....
Don't look back, that's not where you're going.

Finally a bike to directly compete with GS. Hoping to test-ride it when it arrives to Guzzi dealer here. Must say I'm a very tempted to testride it.  O0

It's a good looker, but I am afraid it will not compete with the GS. Everything says it is more a road bike, so it maybe competes with the Varadero, Vstrom, Tiger etc.
Dagaty!!!

The original MG DS bike. 1100 Quota. I know of only one in SA. The Stelvio is a vast improvement on the previous attempt. I think they might have had the 1200 GS in mind when Piagio developed this baby. It so nice, it hurts :'(

Just very unfortunate that the final drive has the designation of;

CA.R.C (reactive shaft drive) final drive

I think it is an exceptional looking design and will be interested to see how it fares in the real world. I think they have a winner.
I wonder where that gravel road goes? And that, has usually made all the difference. (Apologies to Mr Frost)
