I have to admit, I'm starting to like this bike quite a lot. To me, an 800 makes more sense than a 650. It will be much better for longer distance touring, except it only has a 18l tank. I've been wondering about upgrading, as in more cc's, for a while now....

Don't look back, that's not where you're going.

Nice looking bike!!

Good in my book (guessing from pics):
  • 21 inch front wheel
  • Upsidedown forks in fronk
  • Fuel Tank under seat (low centre of gravity
  • Air Intakes nice and high on the bike
  • Chain Drive
  • Good looking instrument cluster
  • Power socket up near handle bars

Bad in my book (guessing from pics):
  • Bash plat design looks even worse than the 1200
  • Crappy looking foot pegs
  • No protection behind front wheel (Oil filter etc very exposed to stones)

Just guessing, lets wait and see what the specs look like....

That centre stand is going to scrape way before the foot pegs...

Is that black pipework beneath the bike REALLY a centre stand???

It looks really good

The front brake reservoir looks like an ugly zit though
I used to be indecisive, but I'm not so sure anymore
