Sent Li to the UK to fetch me some Rally Raid goodies (Ok she was going for work and I had them deliver to her hotel

)
All function over form for me at this stage, Just getting the bike 100% sorted for anything, cosmetics (RR Evo2 Tanks etc) will come when I win the lotto

The List and Pics.
1. RR Billet Fuel Cap, Stock fuel cap acts as a funnel for dirt, get the bike nice and muddy and you are almost guaranteed to get some dirt in your tank when you open the cap, not to mention that the key seems to take a bit or force to turn in the lock, could be an issue later on. (Installation: 3 bolts and 2 minutes)
2. Rear Rack + Upper and Lower Tank/subframe bolt upgrade, As the tank forms part of the subframe reports suggest that hard use and mild loading on the rear can cause the bushing in the lower mounting to wear out and then cause strain on the upper mounts causing them to break, the upgrade kit provides a slightly larger diameter bushing and one long bolt instead of the 2 smaller ones as well as stronger upper mounting bolts, The rear rack has a nice handle integrated and provides some packing space, Still looking at getting some slim line luggage racks made up at some point, (Installation: Remove seat(0), side covers(4bolts), Airbox (4bolts, intake, sensor,2 hoses), Exhaust mounting bolt. remove bottom mounting bolts and replace by lifting tank up slightly then replace top bolts. About 45 minutes.
3. Brake snake, Protects against small trees etc getting between the frame and the brake lever and bending it out, Might also help a little when going down to keep the break lever from bending out, (You need to remove the little ally mounting point that comes with the brake snake as the 690 has a spot for the cable to go through (clever Austrians!) Might also need to remove the bash plate depending on which one you have fitted, (20 minutes)
4. Also replaced the 2 bolts that hold the radiator protector in place with cable ties, Reports suggest a fall can cause the covers to move and force the bolts to tear out of the radiator leaving your stranded, The crash bar limits the chances of this but I did it anyway just for in case.
