1. The Stock Pipe, Ughh sounds kak, weighs a ton, was going to keep it for a bit and only replace it after run in but after hearing the new Wings pipe also needs 300ks of run in before heavy use I decided to run them in together, Looks much better, Sounds much much better and the motor feels likes it too, Mounting was easy (took 15 minutes) including a beer and lots of time spent drooling. I have left the supplied DB killer in the pipe, and have also opted to not have it remapped, this bike really doesn't need any more power and I have heard of folks having issues with the akro map and surging. No Surging no flame outs, EFI is spot on!
Hi Jules
I notice in the manual that there is a switch under the seat which controls the mapping (5 settings - from poor fuel quality to maximum madness).
have you adjusted this at all?
Have messed about with it a bit, Leave it on 3 (Standard Setting), I set it to 1 (Mud Rocks) for the Rear Entry into baviaans and although it smoothed out the throttle response and limited the power a bit I was used to the standard setting and found it hard to get used to, maybe if I play with it a bit on rough terrain.
As far as im concerned leave it on 3, a bit of a gimmick.
If you like wheelies (I Know you do!) do the 1 and 2 gear limiter removal, Quick to do and makes the front a little lighter ;-)
