I still have one set of precision bearings to replace the rather flimsy and readily wearing swingarm pivot bearings of the DR200 on the shelf.

The set consists of 2 needle bushes, two hardened & ground carbon steel inner races / spacer bushes and four shaft seals to keep the grease inside the needle bearings and water, dust and grit on the outside. (These seals are heavy duty shaft seals of better quality than the rather flimsy OEM rubber thingies)

Once installed the set is pretty much maintenance free (although you might want to disassemble and grease the needle bushes every year or every other year).

The set is a straight fit, no engineering or modifications are required. No wear, no play = longer service life and better & safer handling.

If your rear suspension squeaks or your swingarm has play in the pivot you will need to do something.

At R828 the set is only some R 200 more expensive than the parts needed to refurbish the rapidly wearing OEM plastic bush setup.
