The show was dead boring, just same old same old...
Only good thing was seeing old friends like Hentie and having a few cold beers, but I can do that at a bar without paying entry.
Great news, my book 'Sniffer' has seen the light of day on Amazon Kindle!

Zebra - hope you can get that damaged pannier to CT soon - some extra scratches won't distract from its looks :imaposer:

Hentie - ek sal kyk of ek volgende naweek by Tanya kan gaan draai.

Good to meet you okes!

I quite enjoyed it, but I can understand that there was not much for someone who visited purely out of a DS point of view.

I like all types of bikes though and there sure were some beauties!

Hey Zebra, did you have the GS seat with that bum saver on your stand that you could demo?

What is the cost of it?

Hi Edd, yes I did, I think I had roughly 250 peeps sit on it over the 3 days, and sold 13 sets, so happy with that.

Although the 'Brick is my 'Pride & Joy' I got a LOT of satisfaction watching people read the 'sit down and try me' notes on the floor, before sitting on the mock-up, and then sit...., pause...., S-M-I-L-E !

It really got people smiling!

It costs R995, in any color of your choice.
Cheers

I think the show was well executed and Cayene had an excellent representation there. I thought the show was well executed and reasonably priced.

What was interesting to me was that I didn't see one motorcycle manufacturer represented there, only dealers and biking service providers (correct me if I am wrong). You could see most brands here and there but the 'All things bike show' was awesome if you were into Caravans and Camping.

I thought this was a poor show personally.  Misrepresentation me thinks!???

Yamaha, KTM, Honda, Suzuki, Ducati.....where were you?

MV Augusta and Beta had best representation there.

Hi Mox and Punisher

Good meeting you both, too.

As far as the show was concerned, it 'worked' for both myself and BlingKing, so we were happy with participation/crowd numbers, sales, and feedback, etc.

I do hear your comments, though, and will pass feedback back to the Organizers.

Other shows you may wish to consider attending this year will be AMiD (August), Gauteng Motor Show (June) and 1000 bike show.

Cheers
Chris

All who purchase an entrance ticket at the show, will receive a R100 voucher to spend at the WOA stand, or at any of the 4 stores until the 31st March.

Me & Pom were at the show, no WOA vouchers to be seen
IMHO, the show was was alright. also interested in all types of bikes , not just DS bikes , so there was more for me to look at.
Could have been a lot bigger & better, there certainly was enough space for it. The guys that did exhibit had good stands. The Victory one & the Cayenne/Beta/MV one stood out in particular.
Surprised that the main players did not exhibit
We bailed out of the mass riode at 14th avenue from sheer boredom & turned around & went back to the show.

PS Pom's new Thruxton is gorgeous

Found the show okay maybe because it was my first time there but for somebody who want to buy stuff for DS bikes you are wasting your time...... :-\
