The show was dead boring, just same old same old...
Only good thing was seeing old friends like Hentie and having a few cold beers, but I can do that at a bar without paying entry.
Jip, I thought the bike show looked a bit "thin". Fortunately I'm also a keen 4x4 driver and camper, so the total show was worth going to for me
But I met mr Flying Brick  :thumleft:

Saw that flyingbrick baggage system in lewendige lywe only the other day and must say that it is a pretty nifty system. Oh, and got a lesson from Zebra where the name comes from - pardon my ignorance on BMW skoeter history.

All who purchase an entrance ticket at the show, will receive a R100 voucher to spend at the WOA stand, or at any of the 4 stores until the 31st March.

Me & Pom were at the show, no WOA vouchers to be seen
IMHO, the show was was alright. also interested in all types of bikes , not just DS bikes , so there was more for me to look at.
Could have been a lot bigger & better, there certainly was enough space for it. The guys that did exhibit had good stands. The Victory one & the Cayenne/Beta/MV one stood out in particular.
Surprised that the main players did not exhibit
We bailed out of the mass riode at 14th avenue from sheer boredom & turned around & went back to the show.

PS Pom's new Thruxton is gorgeous

I found my voucher last night. It was in that white Cayenne packet they gave out at the entrance.

I enjoyed the show - went on Friday, chatted to Chris & Denver, bumped into Adventurer - spent a great deal of time at the Beta stand - nice girls - organised a test on the 400 Beta (what a silly idea that was.... oh, Mr. Bank Manager....) bought some goodies, ate some burger, drank some beer and organised a visit to LA Sport in Pta to discuss options for a Jimny for the missus! Spent time at WOA - missed Hentie - discussing the Drift Ghost....

Good show and thanks to the exhibitors - if they are there, the shows will get better.

Looking forward to Amid & GMS.....
