Tiger 1050 Off-road

I did a search on this but could not find anything so what I need to know are any of you taking the New Tiger 1050 off road at all. If yes how does it handle and what mods were done on the bike.

A mate of mine has got the Tiger 1050
has done gravel roads
he fitted a guard to the radiator

i do not think that this tiger is made for gravel roads
the 955 was but not the 1050

Its an amazing bike goes like hell he loves it
but its not a dual purpose

Yeah - same type of bike as the Yammie TDM850/900 and the kwak Versys.

Only looks like a dual purpose...

Well it was manufactured as a Sports Touring bike and I believe that the smaller model will be more off road. I was just wondering if anyone got around this by doing any mods as I would like to get one but then it would defeat the object of using it as a dual purpose bike.
