What are some of the restaurants/bars you like to frequent that cater for bike parking ?
Mine since it is just across the road basically is the Blue Peter.

Bundu, I have been on Sundays, I suppose any day is a good day however I am not sure whether they are open on week days.  :thumleft:

Hmmmmm me thinks that me can see a micro brewery pub crawl in the not too distant future. Black Horse, Mollywood, and there is one near to the Bundu Bar at Harties. Right that is three... where else?

Awesome brewery not to miss is in Muldersdrift, Gilroys, unfortunately on weekends you have to book but worth all the effort.

Ode to Gilroy

It came as a shock
In the nicest way.
I found out last week,
And what can I say?
But I’m starting the story
Halfway through
This is what happened.
I hadn’t a clue!

The English newspaper,
The Telegraph, asked
Who’s the Best in the World?
And their readers they tasked
To nominate restaurants,
A Sports Bar or Pub.
“Who’s ‘Best of British’
Who sells the best grub”?

The lovely Bill Flannigan
Not quite right in the head
Said, “I go to Gilroy’s
And I sometimes get fed.”
So he sent off our name
E-mail – no expense spared.
And the Telegraph wondered
If anyone cared?

So they canvassed the good folk
Who voted before
And an army arose
We could not have asked for more.
And one thousand souls voted
In this global war.
And all competition
Lay stunned in the floor.

So Thank You, oh Thank You
You rallied to the cause
And we beat the usurpers
Across all foreign shores.
We won ‘Best of British’
And our proud heart just soars
So to all those who voted
A grateful, “Up Yours.”

Gilroy’s did it again – we won, thanks to you!

Was here over the weekend, very cool

Also like to stop off at Misty Mountains late afternoon while heading back. Love to sit and watch the mist going down into the valley from their deck

A nice micro brewery is Hops Hollow 20km outside Lydenburg on the way to Sabie, best to stop there on those winter days when they have the fire going inside and enjoying their house brands

Anvyl brewery and the Poacher pub in Dullstroom, as well as the Duck and Trout (real pub, they don"t service coffee)

Woodsman in Sabie, you park your bike under the deck (love the make some exhaust noise under the people sitting there

If you are packed for adventure, you can never be lost or late

Previously know as Lycan after getting bitten...
but then became infected
