We got a little rat arsed down the road and never made it back unfortunatley, I was very disapointed the next day, but at the time it wasn't actually a problem. Sorry everyone.

Fun checking in

Arrived back home on Sunday night at about 10:15 pm. After doing Katsberg pass (awesome road) on Sunday morning and arriving in Queenstown at about 12h30 for lunch, Kilroy and Wino decided to stay in Queenstown on Sunday night to get his back tyre replaced on Monday morning, I decided to push home from there via Bloemfontein and the N1. After the strong winds all day, it was very nice once it got dark and the winds died down....

Thanks to all for an awesome event.

Shark and Dieter checking in after a safe and adventurous return trip.
Me and Dieterj took the scenic dirt back via Kieskamahoek, Tsomo, Cala, Maclear, Naudes Nek up and down, and only made Matatiele on the first day. (500km)
Yesterday was a challenge, 3x punctures, one broken topbox. Route was Himeville, Sani, Mokotlong, Butha Butha , Fouriesburg, Villiers. (800km 05H50-0H40 when I got home)

Dropped Dieter off with a bakkie at midnight. Long story to a long day.

Was awesome to put some faces to the personalities and names, too many to mention. Thanks for a great time people!

DieterJ checking in.  Like Shark said, awesome, epic adventure ride, punctures broken frames and, of course, bashplate, but wouldn't have swapped it for anything.  Got home late last night, thanks to awesome help from Shark's wife who came out when the last puncture I had was so big the reaming tool just rattled around in the hole, and so did the plugs!  Ride report to follow.

Also topbox still at the pub at Sani top.  Anyone know anyone going past there in a 4x4 and on to Gauteng?  The most important stuff in the box is the WD vest, the WD stickers and the WD buff.

Thanks to all the organizers - What a blast!!

Lets just say that I ran out of juice where ADV could not get a pic

... and ADV had a puncture where I could not get a pic

... and CP had the biggest dump of all time where both of us were not around to witness it

;D ;D ;D

Got back Yesterday, over 2600kms, awesome ride back saw Towns and places I have never heard of, glad to report that the ribs are not broken, just very inflamed with a touch of Pneumonia, got Karked out by the Doctor at Olivedale clinic for riding like this, but as I said to Her, would not have abandoned the trip for Love nor money, Had a Blast.
I think if I actually found My mind, I probably wouldn't know what to do with it,

OK, so now we know you are (sort of) OK, how bad is the damage to the bling machine?

Amazingly enough very minor, crash bar on the left hand side took all the brunt, took them off last night, brackets are bent but can be straightened, have already started to repair the minor cosmetics, I am very lucky indeed Pierreb says the actual crash looked very bad, I cant really remember, it was so quick, and I was very disorientated afterwards, very pleased he was there, the ride up Naude's neck was character building to say the least.!!
I think if I actually found My mind, I probably wouldn't know what to do with it,

Pistol fraid I could not help myself, after dragging myself back from the Hospital yesterday, I started the repair process already, much to my Wife's distress.
